This Privacy Policy explains how Superior Floor Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 202347540K) (“Superior Floor”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you visit superior-floor.sg, contact us, or use our flooring supply and installation services. We comply with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1. Personal data we collect

• Quote requests: name, mobile number, email, property type, estate, postal code, address and unit number, approximate area, preferred product, existing floor, your requirements, preferred measurement date and any referral code.
• Warranty registration and checks: name, mobile number, email, installation address and a copy of your invoice.
• Feedback, referrals and Photo Rewards: name, mobile number, email, your comments and ratings, details of people you refer, and photos you choose to upload.
• Messages and calls: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email, including photos of your space.
• Website usage: device and browser information, pages visited, approximate location and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

If you give us personal data about someone else (for example, a friend you refer), please make sure they agree to it first.

2. How we use your personal data

• To respond to enquiries, arrange site measurements and prepare quotations.
• To supply and install flooring, schedule works and communicate with you about your project.
• To register, verify and handle warranty claims and after-sales service.
• To run our referral programme and Photo Rewards, including issuing rewards.
• To improve our website, services and advertising, and to measure how well they work.
• To send you promotions or updates, only where you have agreed to receive them.
• To keep records, prevent fraud and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Consent and withdrawal

By submitting a form or contacting us, you agree to us using your personal data for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (section 11). We will process your request within a reasonable time. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue providing some services, such as completing a quotation or processing a warranty claim.

4. Marketing messages

We will only send you marketing messages by phone call, SMS or WhatsApp if you have given clear consent, or if your number is not registered with Singapore’s Do Not Call Registry. Every marketing message will tell you how to opt out, and you can reply to stop at any time. Messages about your quotation, project or warranty are not marketing and will continue while they are needed.

5. Who we share your personal data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed for the purposes above, with:

• our installers and subcontractors who carry out your works;
• product suppliers and manufacturers, for orders and warranty claims;
• service providers that run our website, email, messaging and analytics, such as WordPress.com (Automattic), Google and WhatsApp (Meta);
• condominium management or town councils where an installation needs their approval; and
• government authorities or professional advisers where required or permitted by law.

6. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Singapore. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep it working, to understand how visitors use it (Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats), and to measure the results of our advertising (Google Ads conversion tracking, including clicks on our WhatsApp links). This information is generally aggregated and does not tell us who you are.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage ad personalisation in your Google ad settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if cookies are blocked.

8. Photos you share with us

If you upload photos through Photo Rewards and tick the permission box, we may use them on our website and social media to show our work. We will not publish your name, address or unit number with them. You can ask us to stop using your photos at any time, and we will remove them from our website and our own social media pages within a reasonable time.

9. How long we keep your data and how we protect it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, including the full warranty period for your installation and any period required by law (for example, for tax and accounting records). After that, we securely delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected systems and limiting access to staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but if a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as required by the PDPA.

10. Accessing and correcting your data

You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, how it has been used or disclosed in the past year, or ask us to correct it. We will respond within 30 days. If we need more time, we will tell you when we expect to reply. We may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of an access request, and will let you know the amount beforehand.
